Summary edit

Description
English: Between the wars the Metropolitan Line undertook a program of station rebuilding. Charles Walter Clark who was the architect to the company at the time designed a 'house' style. Booking halls were lined with sea green tiles, a frieze of yellow and mauve, and a dado band in similar colours also with the corporate diamond pattern. The booking window surrounds are also original from 1925.
