Description

Legal and General Assurance Society Building on Waterloo St. Designed in 1931 by S.N. Cooke and E. Holman and completed in 1933.

Basically a fairly simple classical design this is one of the few buildings in the centre of Birmingham, that has some (however slight) Art Deco influences. The carved decorated panels are by William Bloye
