Summary edit

Description 35 Black Prince Road, Lambeth, London. An auxiliary hospital was opened here by the Red Cross in 1916 which until 1918 served as the The Maxillo-Facial Hospital for servicemen with facials injuries. From 1918 it served as a Babies Hostel which treated infants up to the age of 3 years, under the direction of St Thomas' Hospital. From 1965 it focussed on psychiatric care and was renamed the Psychiatric Day Hospital for Children. It closed in 1990 and is now used by Lambeth Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
