Description
English: William Augustus. Solomons glory, or the rival mistresses. Duke of Cumberland seated on a bank with the Savoyard girl, his arm about her neck. The Duke's rival mistresses stand behind, and are vehemently jealous. In the distance appear Windsor Castle and Eton College Chapel. Published according to Act of Parliament in London, 29 of August 1749.
Deutsch: Wilhelm August, Herzog von Cumberland. Salomons Ruhm oder Die rivalisierenden Mätressen. Der Herzog von Cumberland sitzt auf einer Bank mit dem savoyischen Mädchen mit seinem Arm um ihren Hals. Die rivalisierenden Mätressen des Herzogs stehen im Hintergrund und sind äußerst eifersüchtig. In der Ferne sieht man Windsor Castle und die Kapelle des Eton College. Veröffentlicht anlässlich des Parlamentsgesetzes vom 29. August 1749.
