| Description |
English: Wilts & Dorset 3173 (Y173 FEL), a DAF DB250/Optare Spectra, in Portland Terrace, Southampton, Hampshire, coming past WestQuay shopping centre. Having just finished route 56A, the driver has changed the destination display ready for the return journey on route 56. From 27 February 2011, Wilts & Dorset routes 56/56A (Southampton - Lymington via Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst), were replaced by Bluestar route 6 which started from that date (all journeys running via the 56A route). Some journeys continue to be run from Wilts & Dorset's Lymington depot, just with Bluestar liveried buses, although for about the first week of the changes there were still red Wilts & Dorset buses running the route which wasn't good - especially as the duty interworked with existing Bluestar routes 10 and 11 which suddenly started having Wilts & Dorset buses turn up. |
