Description
English: Footbridge over site of Winchester Chesil Station
The former Didcot Newbury & Southampton (apparently known as the Dirty, Noisy & Slow) railway route is now blocked by a multi-storey car park, beyond which is the tunnel SU4829 : Chesil railway tunnel, Winchester. Photos SU4829 : Railway by Winchester Chesil Station and SU4829 : Chesil Street car park and old railway line were taken from the sloping footbridge (now in GWR colours) 46 years apart.
