English: Wind blown on Dowlais ditch The few dwarf trees which line Dowlais ditch all lean heavily to the east - away from the westerly wind coming off the Bristol Channel just to the west. The ridge of earth lying to the east of (and parallel with) the ditch show that it has been dredged fairly recently. With the amount of rainfall falling of late, it's doubly important to keep the ditches clean. |
