Summary edit

Description
English: Wind turbines are windmills that convert wind energy into electricity. In America, they supplement energy generated by burning coal, natural gas, and other means.

New wind turbines have been installed in numerous places throughout America and other countries in recent decades. Unfortunately, they are ugly, mar the landscape, and kill birds.

Locality: view from rest-stop along west-bound Interstate 84, ~2.5 kilometers west of the town of Arlington, far-northern Oregon, USA
