Description
English: Basel exhibition centre. The central architectural and urban planning element of the hall complex developed by Herzog & de Meuron is the City Lounge. This covered public space not only marks the entrance to the trade fairs, but is also a meeting place for locals and guests. The architects call the striking hole in the center a "window to the sky".
