| Description |
English: Windsor Castle waterworks. The main block here has the pumping station to the left and a rented out dwelling to the right. The intake screens for the disused water turbine can be seen. This drove three sets of three throw pumps and could be backed up by a Blackstone diesel engine. This kit has been replaced by electric pumps in the low section on the extreme left. The building right background originally housed a steam pump and now houses treatment plant and the electric firepump. |
