Description
English: Thin breccia bed in dolostone in the Cambrian of Vermont, USA.

Dolostone is sedimentary rock composed of the mineral dolomite - calcium magnesium carbonate, Ca,Mg(CO3)2. Dolomite and dolostone bubble in acid when powdered.

Stratigraphy: Winooski Dolomite, lower Middle Cambrian

Locality: roadcut at southwestern corner of the Route 2-Route 7 intersection, Chimney Corner, northwestern Vermont, USA (44° 35' 22.03" North latitude, 73° 10' 00.77" West longitude)
