English: Winter Flooding at Harbridge Floods are a common event here on this stretch of low lying road which crosses the Avon flood plain. A car towing a trailer has spluttered to a halt after its wet crossing, and lies marooned on the approach to the bridge. A few seconds after this photo was taken, a posse of volunteers went to the aid of the stranded motorist (including yours truly!). |
