English: The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal flows under the stone masonry arch of the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge in the busy Georgetown area of Washington, DC. The towpath beside the canal serves as a footpath and recreation resource. The original wrought-iron railing dates back to 1831.
