English: Wood Street Village: Frog Grove Lane. If Streetmap is to be believed this is unsurprisingly the only Frog Grove Lane in England. A lot of the properties on the right side of the road here have large plots which are used as smallholdings for a variety of purposes. A Google search on the name of the road revealed connections with goats, catteries, kennels, pianos, and demolition contractors to name but a few. The sets of white posts with angled tops on both sides of the road have become very popular in recent years to mark the "entrance" to a village. |
