English: Wool Staplers Warehouse No.11 Cheapside is a grade II listed building. Cheapside is thought to have the longest continuous street of surviving wool staplers warehouses in the country. Over time these buildings have been developed and refurbished, and used for various businesses. Wakefield was the principal wool stapling town in the West Riding until the advent of steam railways in the 1840s. |
