Description
English: Work crews from Emmert International join Oregon State Defense Force Brig Gen. James B. Thayer, former Oregon Governors Ted Kulongoski and Vic Atiyeh, Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs Director Cameron Smith, President of Emmert International Terry Emmert, Miss Oregon Nichole Meade, and John, Jim and Mike Thayer for a group photo near the construction site of the new Oregon Military Museum at Camp Withycombe in Clackamas, Ore., April 11. The group was on hand for the event that featured the removal of the old Camp Withycombe guard shack from the facility, and a tour of the Oregon Military Museum construction site. Several individuals from today’s group are scheduled to attend a sold-out fundraiser event on April 20, which will feature entertainment by Tommy Thayer of the rock band KISS. Proceeds from the gala event will go toward the two-year capital campaign to raise funds for the Brig. Gen. James B. Thayer Museum located at Camp Withycombe. (Photo by Master Sgt.
