Summary edit

Description
English: Between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Momument is the World War II Memorial. It is granite and fountains reflecting the resolve and sacrifice of effort to defeat Fascism. The pillars name the US states and territories. The two ends are the Atlantic and Pacific theaters of the war. I thought BW processing held true to the style of the Memorial. And I liked the symbolism of the dark tree rising from the stone.
