Description
English: Medieval graffiti inscription showing an elaborate compass drawn six petal rosette, from All Saints church in Worlington, Suffolk. Includes evidence of medieval pigment. The six petal rosette was used in England as an occasional substitute, and alternative for, the cross or crucifix from the twelfth century onwards.
