English: Timber framed northern wall of Barkenhoff in Worpswede. Above the door a poem by Rainer Maria Rilke, dedicated to Heinrich Vogeler:

"Licht ist sein Loos, ist der Herr nur das Herz und die Hand des Bau's, mit den Linden im Land wird auch sein Haus schattig und groß."
