Afrikaans: Die foto wys hoe my ma 'n tradisionele mandjie weef in die landelike gebied van die dorpie Oniipa in die noordelike deel van Namibië. Sy verrig hierdie aktiwiteit as haar primêre bron van inkomste. Tradisionele mandjies word vir berging gebruik, om vrugte, meel of sand in te dra of om as borde vir maaltye te dien. Mandjies word in verskillende groottes geweef, afhangend van die beoogde gebruik.
English: The picture represents my mom weaving a traditional basket in rural area (village called Oniipa) which is at the northern part of Namibia. She engage in this activity as her primary source income. Traditional baskets are used as storage, carry fruits, flours, sands, and serve as plates during meals. The baskets are made in different sizes depending on the intended use.
