DescriptionWu experiment.jpg	English: Principle of Wu experiment 1956 to detect parity violation in nuclear beta decay. The result of this experiment was one of the most startlingly unexpected in all of physics, proving that the current world would not behave identically with its mirror image (the only difference being that left and right would be reversed). Few experiments in physics have had greater impact.
