Español: EL xúul de la foto lo fabrico Don Victoriano, (quien lo sostiene en la imagen) es un palo de madera que termina en forma aguzada misma que esta endurecida al ponerla en fuego y la tiene revestida con una punta de hierro. El procedimiento más común para la siembra es el Kóoben pakál (siembra al tresbolillo) consiste en recorrer el terreno en línea recta enterrando el xúul a seis o siete centímetros de profundidad y a una distancia de un metro de un hoyo a otro y se deposita de tres a cinco semillas luego se tapa el hoyo arrimando la tierra con la punta del pie (mak jool). |
