Summary edit
DescriptionX-ray machine for shoe fitting.jpg | In the "dangerously cavalier use of X-rays" section, this machine was used for fitting shoes, at least in theory. You could stick your foot inside it and look into the eyepiece to see your bones. Today we're much more careful in reducing exposure to X-rays, so the machine isn't actually turned on and we can't see it in action. Taken in St. Paul, Minnesota |
