Summary
editDescriptionXA1411 + The Australind, Perth, 1986.JPG |
English: With the headquarters of the State Energy Commission of Western Australia in the background, Western Australian Government Railways (WAGR) X class locomotive no XA1411 Weedookarri, in Westrail orange and blue livery, swings around the bend east of Perth railway station as it approaches the Moore Street level crossing with a Bunbury-bound The Australind train from Perth. In 1987, this locomotive-hauled set of coaches was replaced by a diesel multiple unit train that, as of 2012, was still in service, as the Transwa Australind.
