Wood, gesso, paint; virgin has glass eyes, lashes, wig; fabric garments; metal crowns; life size. The bib and scapulars are heavily embroidered, with seed pearls and silver thread.
To the left and right: María y José Peregrinos de la Navidad (Mary and Joseph as pilgrims of the Nativity, identified as such by a woman of the parish; the statues are used during the days of the posadas. Flat-topped straw hats; white garments.) Wood, gesso, paint; glass eyes, wigs, open mouths with teeth; fabric garments; about 2' (60 cm.).
