| Description |
El yacimiento arqueológico de "La Cava" se encuentra en la Alcarria conquense, en la Sierra de Altomira muy próximo a la frontera con la provincia de Guadalajara, cerca del pueblo de Garcinarro. Es un yacimiento con elementos de distintas épocas. Por ejemplo una piedra retallada para asemejarse a una serpiente, posiblemente de época íbera. Un poco y una cantera de epoca romana. Eremitorios y una necrópolis de época visigoda. Lo más relevante son tres estancias talladas en la roca identificadas con un santuario religioso íbero del año 450-400 a.C., y una enorme estancia con muros de más de 4 metros de altura igualmente tallados en la roca y de dudosa funcionalidad. |
