Description
English: Yavapai Point, Grand Canyon, Arizona.
(On Mar 16, 2013, Wotans Throne (flat-top), south-(1-mi) of Walhalla Plateau); view ~East-Northeast; the butte is O'Neill Butte, (on the en:Supai Group redbeds), thus the point is probably Yaki Point-(or Mather Point, see later in text), a photo taken from along Rim Road (rimside cliff) (Rim Trail (South Rim), approximately, about 3/4-mi west on the South Rim.
The Viewpoint is on white-buff Kaibab Limestone/Kaibab Formation.
Alternatively, this could be a view of Mather Point, directly east of Yavapai Point, but recessed back (south) from the extension north of Yavapai (the same position of Rim Trail (South Rim), west of Yaki Point).
