| Description |
English: Plate with an yeast drop test. Medium on a plate is supplemented with a compound of the interest (i.g. a drug), which causes grow defects in yeast. Different yeast strains (from the left to the right column) are applied from the top to the bottow row in decreasing concentrations. One can see various drug susceptibility of different strains by comparing their fittness along the column with the fitness of wild type yeast in the most left column. Strains in columns 2, 3 and 4 show increased drug suspectibility, while 5, 6, 7 and 9 are comparable with the wild type. 8 is only slightly more affected by the drug than WT yeast. |
