Summary edit

Description
English: In a curious neighbourhood not far from Yeni Kapi station there is an Armenian Apostolic Church, at Alboyacılar Sk. No:57. This church is named after the Apostles Saint Tateos and Saint Partoghomeos, who were the first spiritual enlighteners of the Armenians. The foundation of the church was founded in 1846 by Patriarch Matteos II. It was thrown by Çuhacıyan. The church was renovated in 1969, during the reign of Patriarch Şınorhk, with the support of the Tateos Ajderhanyan couple and some philanthropists.
