Description
English:

Henry Yesler built Seattle's first steam-powered sawmill in 1852. The following year, he served as the city auditor. Yesler was elected mayor in 1874 and 1885. Bailey Gatzert and John Leary served as mayors in 1875 and 1884, respectively.
