English: Memorial for building road between Yläne and Riihikoski, Riihikoski, Pöytyä, Finland. - Memorial is a carving on a broken glacial erratic stone by the road (present connecting road 2043) between Yläne and Riihikoski village in Pöytyä. Road was completed in 1895. The carving is "F. F. B." and year "1895", F. F. B. meaning Frans Fredrik Björni (1850-1930), representative in 1897 Diet of Finland; he had a strong influence in building the road. The glacial erratic is protected. Date of the carving is not known.
Suomi: Yläneen ja Riihikosken välisen maantien rakentamisen muistomerkki, Riihikoski, Pöytyä, Suomi. - Muistomerkki on kaiverrus rikkoontuneessa siirtolohkareessa Yläneen ja Pöytyän Riihikosken välisen tien (nykyisen yhdystien 2043) varrella. Tie valmistui 1895. Muistomerkkinä on kiveen hakatut nimikirjaimet "F. F. B." ja vuosiluku "1895". Nimikirjaimet tarkoittavat valtiopäivämies Frans Fredrik Björniä, jolla oli suuri vaikutus tien rakentamiseen. Rikkoontunut siirtolohkare on rauhoitettu. Kaiverruksen tekoaika ei ole tiedossa. |
