| Description | Dense brush along the Alaska Highway in Yukon Territory, Canada. There are numerous pullouts along the Alaska Highway that allow travelers to hike beyond the edge of the road. Frequently, hikers are dumped into dense forests. It was not uncommon to find bear scat and other signs of wildlife directly beyond the main trailheads, reminding the hiker of thier remote location. |
