Klausstud errichtet 1812
Grenze des Stadtbannes von Zürich bis 1798
und der Fischerreirechte der Stadtbürger.
Im Mittelalter stand an dieser Stelle eine
Statue des Heiligen Nikolaus - des Schutz-
patrons der Schiffe und Schiffsleute.
Bis 1887 lag diese Stelle im See, das Ufer
befand sich 100 Meter von hier entfernt.
