English: 10,000 feet up at the top of the Franz Joseph Glacier. What an amazing experience! Landing on the glacier, on the day I visited it was 30C up here (the day before it was socked in with low cloud and all flights were cancelled!). The silence up there is awsome, not a bird, not even an insect.. nothing! If you ever get the chance to do this trip.. do it, it's a must! |
