Zuma Rock, Nigeria's symbol of pride, found in one hundred naira note.

Summary edit

Description
English: Elegantly towering over Abuja is she whom I love to talk about. Masterpiece beyond compare, defense to the oppressed and chief tourist seductress, she is. Her name; Zuma Rock. Located along Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria expressway in the border town of Madalla, Niger State, north of the country’s Capital, this ageless erection is about the only astounding figure that can get you off your wheels for a quick glance, leaving you with the reality of a more detailed feminine scope.

Her imposing height makes her contemporaries, look like dwarfs, as she rises 725 metres.

The "Gateway to Abuja", as it is called, shares a few traits with us. Possessing natural contours, human face characteristics; prominent mouth, eyes, and nose. Hence, her effortless exudation of an ever filial aura resonating with regional occupants.

Surrounding mountains keep a safe distance from her and this, interpreted as homage. With double honours in war dynamics and refugee security, the Gbagyi/Gwari people enjoy a level of safety in war times as she provides a shield for them. Zuma rock village was built just behind this iconic tourist attraction which has greatly developed the community.

This unquestionable watchman of the Nigerian capital has, therefore, become a symbol of pride, hence, her everlasting spot on the most circulated denomination; the one hundred naira. On that note, it is safe to say that almost every Nigerian enjoys daily contact with the Duchess of mounts, no matter to which tribe they belong.

Zuma Rock is indeed a wonder
