Nederlands: Mitch Henriquez kwam in 2015 om het leven nadat hij zeer hardhandig was gearresteerd. Het proces tegen de agenten die betrokken waren bij de dood van Henriquez kreeg vandaag een opzienbarende wending; Richard Korver, advocaat van de moeder en twee zussen van Henriquez, zegde namens de familie het vertrouwen in de rechtsgang op. Korver en zijn cliënten verlieten daarop de rechtszaal, een zeldzaamheid in de Nederlandse rechtspraak. Zij menen dat er te weinig is gedaan met door hen vergaard nieuw beeldmateriaal. Daaruit zou blijken dat Henriquez blauw aanliep tijdens zijn aanhouding en dat agenten wisten dat hij was overleden. Aan tafel: Richard Korver en Lila Henriquez, zus van Mitch. |
