English: This is the most old and the most remarkable of the en:Zaraysk churches. It was built in en:1681. On the left side of the churches wall a brass memorial board is placed, which tells one about en:Dmitry Pozharsky who was once a en:voevode of Zaraysk.
The left side of a photo is occupied with a wall of another cathedral - the John the Baptist's cathedral. On the background you can see the east wall of the citadel and its Naugol'naya (corner) tower. The picture was made by en:user:Arseni and is free for use. |
