English: Picture of Polish physician with PhD and sportsman, 1LT of the reserve Julian Gruner (1898-1940) showing young Gruner as a volunteer of the Polish defensive war against the Soviet (Bolshevic) aggression of 1919-20.
Dr. Gruner together with nearly 22 thousand other Poles is the victim of the Soviet crime against the Polish nation collectively called the Katyn Massacre and committed at Stalin's orderd in April and May 1940.
