„Hannover, Leinstraße.“

Der Fotograf stand etwa in Höhe des ehemaligen Wohnhauses von Ludwig Hölty an den Schienen der hannoverschen Straßenbahn gegenüber der Markthalle (rechts im Bild), vor der ein Pferde-Fuhrwerk mit großen Körben zu sehen ist sowie eine Handkarre. Im Zentrum der Aufnahme findet sich das - heute denkmalgeschützte - damalige Haus Leinstraße 25", das laut der Aufschrift auf der langestreckten Markise vom

„Tapetenhaus Heinr. Uihlein“

genutzt wurde für den Verkauf von Tapeten, Linoleum und Wachstuche. Im Bildhintergrund ist das leicht erhellte turmartige Gebäude am Holzmarkt Ecke Schloßstraße (Hannover)
