Die letzte 6x9-Ikonta, gebaut von 1952 bis 1958. In der teuersten Ausführung (310,- DM!) wurde nochmal das beste an Objektiv und Verschluß eingebaut: das Tessar 1:3,5/105 mm (Zeiss-Opton) und der Synchro-Compur. Man muß sie mal in der Hand gehalten und bedient haben, um den Unterschied zu den Konkurrenten zu fühlen: Was für ein Eindruck von Stabilität und Präzision! Leider war die Zeit der Rollfilm-Klappkameras dann vorbei. Zeiss Ikon versuchte zwar, das Ende mit der Super Ikonta III und IV (bis 1960) hinauszuzögern, aber die Foto-Amateure schwenkten auf das Kleinbild-Format um. Die Ercona war übrigens das fast identische Ost-Modell der Dresdner Zeiss-Ikon-Werke. Es gab noch eine um den Fernrohrsucher erweiterte Ercona II, die der abgebildeten 523/2 (auch: Ikonta C II) dadurch zum Verwechseln ähnlich war. |
