Zingiber malaysianum (Black Ginger - 'Midnight')

Description
Photograph of a stand of black ginger. Profusion of long, very dark, upwards-pointing leaves. Where the leaves are backlit, they glow with a caramel color, but otherwise are black or extremely dark green. The stems are yellow-green.
