Deutsch: Der Weiler Zumdorf liegt im Süden Uris im Urserental zwischen Hospental und Realp und gehört politisch zur Gemeinde Hospental. Bis 1851 hatte Zumdorf 50 Einwohner, wurde dann aber von einer gewaltigen Lawine verschüttet. Zumdorf wird zurzeit (2018) von einer einzigen Familie, die aus drei Personen besteht, ganzjährig bewohnt und wurde offiziell zum «kleinsten Dorf der Schweiz» erklärt.
Italiano: La frazione Zumdorf si trova al sud di Uri nel Urserental tra Hospental e Realp e politicamente appartiene al comune di Hospental. Nel 1851 Zumdorf aveva 50 abitanti, ma fu poi seppellito da un'enorme valanga. Zumdorf è attualmente (2018) abitata da una singola famiglia di tre persone tutto l'anno ed è stata ufficialmente dichiarata "il più piccolo villaggio della Svizzera".
Français : Le hameau Zumdorf est situé dans le sud d'Uri dans l'Urserental entre Hospental et Realp et appartient politiquement à la municipalité Hospental. En 1851, Zumdorf comptait 50 habitants, mais fut ensuite enseveli sous une énorme avalanche. Zumdorf est actuellement (2018) habité par une seule famille de trois personnes toute l'année et a été officiellement déclaré le «plus petit village de Suisse».
English: The hamlet Zumdorf is located in the south of Uri in the Urserental between Hospental and Realp and politically belongs to the municipality Hospental. By 1851 Zumdorf had 50 inhabitants, but was then buried by a huge avalanche. Zumdorf is currently (2018) inhabited by a single family of three people all year round and has been officially declared the "smallest village in Switzerland". |
