Several Convertible Sedans in 1931

In 1931, Packard dropped the Custom Eight model name for the 840; it now was a Deluxe Eight as the 845 had been for some years. Now, only a sedan and a limousine were available on the 845 (wheelbase 145.5 in.) chassis. So, supposed that this car is not a full custom car (indicated by the cochbuilder's plate), there were these 7-seater convertible sedan variants available on the 840 (wheelbase 140.5 in.) chassis:
- All-Weather Cabriolet #3000; $5,750.00
- All-Weather Landaulet #3001; $5,950.00
- All-Weather Town Car #3002; $5,875.00
- All-Weather Sport Cabriolet #3008; $5,750.00
- All-Weather Sport Landaulet #3009; $5,950.00
All of them were listed in the Individual Custom Eight catalogue what meant that they were factory-offered custom-built cars. This range, ab sub-series of the Deluxe Eight, included further the 6passenger All-Weather Town Car, Landaulet #3003, and the 4-passenger Convertible Sedan by Dietrich #1881, among some other body styles.
