Changed color scheme just now to incumbent TBD. It matches the scheme on the 2026 map and I'm sure we'll see an appointment from Newsom soon and have to redo this all over again Thesavagenorwegian (talk) 18:15, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

- He hasn't announced his retirement just yet. In fact, some sources say he's considering an independent run. This article published today says he hasn't decided anything yet. Direct quote from the senator: “I don’t have to declare what I am doing. When I do, everybody will know.” All the sources talking retirement are still off-the-record.
