It's clearly written that the catapult in the lower left corner is a reconstruction. Just read the text above describing this weapon. Philo of Byzantium describes an experimental weapon by Ctesibius (look at wiki article) that used airthight cylinders of bronze. However, the performance was not up to the expectations because these cylinders couldn't be mage airthight enough.
