United Arab Emirates, Holy See and Timor-Leste

edit

The UAE is a party to the convention (after acceding in 2004) according to the WIPO website: http://www.wipo.int/treaties/en/remarks.jsp?cnty_id=1750C -- There may also be other countries on the list that the map has missed. It certainly needs updating. --BegbertBiggs (talk) - de 22:29, 31 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Timor-Leste, too. --JPF (talk) 10:33, 14 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
Holy See, too.[1] --189.146.70.197 16:51, 14 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

New Caledonia

edit

I notice that New Caledonia is not coloured in on this map, despite the fact that France is. My presumption would be that any copyright laws applying in France would also apply in this overseas collectivity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vast galaxy (talk • contribs) 10:12, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Updates needed

edit

Some things that need to be updated, according to the offical WIPO list of signataries:

  • Mozambique is a signatary since 2013;
  • São Tomé and Principe is a signatary since 2016;
  • South Sudan is still not show as separate from Sudan (Sudan is a signatary, South Sudan is not);
  • Several nations in the Pacific Ocean Islands have signed in the last 20 years, but that area of the map only identifies a handfull over the whole region -> it's clearly outdated;
  • As noted in the topic above mine, New Caledonia is a French overseas territory, and like other French overseas territories (like French Guiana) it should be also coloured blue on the map.
