Inaccuracies edit

(Source: Databank heraldiek in Vlaanderen)

or in translation

"Quartered: 1 and 4; azure; a lion [rampant] azure barry of seven argent and gules, armed, langued and crowned or; 2; azure, a chevron or between three boar's heads argent, langued gules, tusked of the field; 3. gules three keys or".

Accordingly, this coat of arms has a few misrepresentations:

  1. the lions should consist of seven parts (i.e. identical to the one featuring on the Sint-Martens-Latem coat of arms)
  2. the boar's heads lack a red tongue and blue tusks --David de Cooman (talk) 18:10, 18 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
