Reliability of Data

edit

It was suggested by User:Civa61 that the data used for this map is not valid, as SARS-CoV-2 originated in Wuhan, China. This is beyond refute, as shown by the scientific data. However, it is clear that User:Pharexia created this map to show countries with cases that came from Italy - this in no way implies that SARS-CoV-2 first originated in Italy, just that many cases in other countries came from Italy rather than China. It also means that the map may be reliable, although not all of the data has been well-sourced. I will wait for a reply from User:Civa61 before editing the captions, and will hope that User:Pharexia or others can find more sources to improve the reliability of the data. Why create this map to show countries with cases that came from Italy? Why not from USA, the country with the highest number of infected people? O from Russia? The truth is that this map has not scientific basis! --Civa61 (talk) 21:20, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Without forget that since the creation the map lacks sources for most of the countries (including the most infected, the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Spain and Brazil).--Civa61 (talk) 21:30, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
