Improvement edit

MichaelFrey  Hello,

the picture looks much better when filled, thanks for this version. Additionally, it gave me the oppurtunity to look at it one more time and to spot a small error, see the new version of File:Croix malte spherique.svg. I can insert the new lines in your picture if you don't mind.

I also propose for the green filling to also decrease the value of the green component for the shading, to have a darker green wheraeas it looks more saturated in the present version.

Please let me know your opinion about this.

Kind regards

Do as you pleased - additions and corrections are very welcome.
The saturation is screen depended - as I use a mix of uncalibrated screens and have no real feel for "the right color", I tend to just roughly derive colors from one an other. So I have no problem when someone likes to adjust them.
Also feel free to replace the images in any wiki as you like. I tend to be mindful when uploading an altered version. After all: What I might consider to look better, might look worse to others or I may even introduce errors along the way and/or not fit a very specific detail in the article/and or description. This is why I rarely and only very selectively exchange the original image with my altered version. (and on top of that I do not want to steel credit for some elses work) Using "other version" in the description page is the best way for may - any user (especially students preparing a presentation for school) can decide what version is the right version for their context.
I learned from reading patents that filling surfaces with almost any random color helps a lot.
Off course, meaning full colors and correct shading also help a lot.
