German states

How come this picture shows the states in West Germany but not the states in East Germany? --164.67.100.97 01:18, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

I believe that's because the communist GDR-government decided to abolish the states and create a flat, districts-only administration. --109.45.2.100 23:07, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

East Berlin

There is an inaccuracy regarding East Berlin: until the very end of the GDR, the East Berlin sector remained part of the allied occupation of Berlin, just like the other three sectors - or in other words like all of Berlin. This map pretends East Berlin was part of the GDR, which it was not. --109.45.2.100 23:07, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

Der dargestellte Gebietsstand ist nicht 1957, sondern 1963. Das Gebiet Selfkant war zwischen 1957 und 1963 unter niederländischer Verwaltung. Gruss--Plantek (talk) 07:03, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
